The flux is a chemical cleaning agent which facilitates soldering process; it works in welding by removing oxidation from the metals to be joined.
In soldering process, flux serves a threefold purpose: it removes oxidation from the surfaces to be soldered; it seals out air thus preventing further oxidation, and by facilitating amalgamation improves wetting characteristics of the liquid solder. Flux is a corrosive material, so the parts have to be cleaned before each process and after soldering to prevent damage.
The BGA Gel flux has resin-like rheological properties. It is completely halogen-free, guaranteeing long term reliability and has extreme good soldering capabilities.
JV-F010 & JV-F030 easily withstands lead free and normal reflow profiles and the flux medium is designed to volatilize at these temperatures. The minimal, transparent residue doesn't require cleaning.
The BGA gel flux can be applied by dispensing or with a brush. It is suitable for lead free soldering and it could be use as a tacky flux in Re balling process.
